MICHAEL PACKER

Director, Business Development

Mike Packer is a Director at ORIX Capital Partners (“OCP”). Mr. Packer leads the deal origination function at OCP and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities.

Prior to joining OCP, Mr. Packer worked at ClearLight Partners, a lower middle market private equity fund based in Southern California, where he focused on deal origination initiatives. Before joining ClearLight, Mr. Packer worked in Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco, where he helped manage investment portfolios on behalf of ultra-high net worth families, institutions and foundations.

Mr. Packer received an M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University where he was a four-year member of the men’s varsity rugby team.
