SCOTT PHILLIPS

Managing Director, Portfolio Operations

Scott Phillips is a Managing Director at ORIX Capital Partners (“OCP”). Mr. Phillips is responsible for operational improvement initiatives at portfolio companies and operations due diligence for new investment opportunities. Mr. Phillips is a member of OCP’s Environmental, Social & Governance (“ESG”) Committee.

Mr. Phillips joined OCP from TE Connectivity (formally Tyco Electronics), where he served as a Senior Manager responsible for the strategy, execution and profit and loss management of a $90 million automotive sensors and mechatronics component business. Prior to TE Connectivity, Mr. Phillips served in various global roles in product management, project management, operations, quality and engineering for Continental AG and Motorola.

Mr. Phillips earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University (magna cum laude).
